The Campus Store at Manchester University is getting a complete overhaul under new management at the end of July, and that means clearing out the inventory.
MU Wayfair donation 8This provided an opportunity for service, and Campus Store Manager Heather Gochenaur and her student workers packaged up more than 20 boxes of books and loaded them into a pickup truck bound for Waypoint Wabash, which provides a safe, structured and stable environment for women recovering from substance use disorder.

A close friend described Alice R. Dentler as an “old-school” teacher with a giving spirit who shared her love of poetry with her students. Because she grew up poor, Dentler liked to work with children who had their own struggles.
Dentler made this bequest to Manchester because her years here had been the best time of her life.
